Surface coating techniques for performance enhancement of micro-tool surfaces for high-temperature applications

AIN developed coating formulations by PVD specifically designed to hot forming (micro) tools & dies. This is tailored to facilitate oxidation resistance of tools and ejection/demoulding operations with minimal amount or lubricant required. The coatings manufaxctured are quaternary nitride and ternary oxide coatings with different structures: monolithic, gradient or multilayer.
