AREUS LCA METHODS VIRTUAL LAB
Summary
A 3D virtual factory model and a scenario are used to demonstrate the integration of enhanced LCA methods into factory planning software for operative use. Within a 3D Experience environment, robotic plants accurate LCA data are automatically calculated evaluating both economcal and environmental factors. Material, energy and Waste flows define the sustainability performance profile of a selected robotic process and plant configuration, and in AREUS, this sustainability performance is quantified in terms of environmental and economic impact.
